Cape Town – V & A Waterfront

Cape Town is a port city on South Africa’s southwest coast, on a peninsula beneath the imposing Table Mountain. It is South Africa’s oldest city. It serves as the country’s legislative capital, being the seat of the South African Parliament. Slowly rotating cable cars climb to the mountain’s flat top, from which there are sweeping views of the city, the busy harbor and boats heading for Robben Island, the notorious prison that once held Nelson Mandela, which is now a living museum.

For AISA 2024, the second leg of our journey will be returning to our 2022 destination of Cape Town and in particular, the V & A Waterfront District. Our guests fell in love with this area from the very first day and couldn’t get enough of it. From the shops to the harbor to the restaurants, Cape Town lived up to the hype in every aspect.
